Blocking and Unblocking Contacts

Manage your privacy by restricting communication with specific contacts.

You have complete control over who can reach you. If you receive a contact request from someone you don't know, or if you simply no longer wish to communicate with someone, you can easily block them.

How to Block a Contact

1. Go to your Contacts list.
2. Tap on the contact's avatar or name to open their Contact Profile Dialog.
3. Tap the Block Contact button.

Blocking a contact immediately tears down any active data connection with them. They will not be notified that they were blocked, but their messages and call requests will no longer be delivered to you.

How to Unblock a Contact

If you accidentally blocked someone or changed your mind, you can restore access:

1. Navigate to the Settings screen from the Contacts page.
2. Go to Privacy -> Blocked Contacts (Rejected Contacts).
3. Find the user in the list and tap Unblock.

This will return their status to Awaiting Approval, and they can send requests to connect again.
